BOYS’ CROSS COUNTRY
The latest: The squad came in eighth place in its race at the McQuaid Invitational in Rochester, with Tyler Schmidt leading the way with an overall finish of No. 32.
What’s next: A league meet today, at Niskayuna’s Iroquois Middle School course.
BOYS’ SOCCER
The latest: No games since a win Thursday against Albany, but the Plainsmen have been quietly dominant through a 9-2 start to the season. Only six goals allowed in 11 games for Shenendehowa.
What’s next: A meeting today with Troy, on the road at 6:30 p.m.

BOYS’ VOLLEYBALL
The latest: A tough 3-1 loss in a well-played four-set match Friday to Bethlehem, then a great 3-1 win Monday against Guilderland.
What’s next: A trip tomorrow to take on a red-hot Niskayuna squad.
FIELD HOCKEY
The latest: A 1-0 win this past Wednesday against Saratoga Springs was the precursor to a 2-0 win Friday against Shaker for the Plainsmen, which are 10-1.
What’s next: A home contest Wednesday against Guilderland.

FOOTBALL
The latest: A resounding 42-7 win against Ballston Spa, which puts Shenendehowa at 2-1 in divisional play.
What’s next: The last regular-season home game is this Friday when the Plainsmen play host to winless Albany.

GIRLS’ CROSS COUNTRY
The latest: A huge team victory at the McQuaid Invitational in Rochester, where Shenendehowa — now ranked No. 3 in New York — toppled a great field of teams in dominant fashion, beating second-place Centerville 75-81. Leading Shenendehowa were Danielle Jordan (No. 4 overall) and Julia Zachgo (No. 9).
What’s next: A league meet today, at Niskayuna’s Iroquois Middle School course.
GIRLS’ SOCCER
The latest: Shenendehowa has been off since its 1-0 win this past Thursday against Albany.
What’s next: The tough part of the schedule. After today’s meeting with Troy, the undefeated Plainsmen will take on Niskayuna, Saratoga Springs, and Shaker — who, combined, have two losses.
GIRLS’ SWIMMING & DIVING
The latest: Making preparations for one very busy week …
What’s next: Shenendehowa goes to Guilderland Wednesday, and then plays host to its own invitational this Saturday. The Plainsmen’s invitational is one of the turning-point events of the Section II season, as many athletes will be looking to swim top times.
GIRLS’ TENNIS
The latest: A 5-4 win Friday against Saratoga Springs.
What’s next: A home meeting today with Troy.
GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL
The latest: In league action, the Plainsmen are still undefeated and have not played since last Wednesday in the Suburban Council.
What’s next: A match today with Troy before heading to Shaker tomorrow.
GOLF
The latest: A Monday win against Troy, plus a win Friday against Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, in which Mike Ross shot a 37, and Tom McPartlon and Angelo Cafaro each had a 38.
What’s next: Sectionals are Wednesday for the Plainsmen, where Shenendehowa will look to collect a team title at Eagle Crest.
